Well it’s been a little over a week and I think Erik is potty-trained. The boy is highly motivated by a jelly bean! I am bracing myself for regression, but last night he woke up at 3am to go and was dry in the morning. I wasn’t planning on this until it warmed up so he wouldn’t have to worry about pants all of the time, but the boy is ready. We went to Target tonight to pick out some big boy underwear. Thomas it is! I don’t know how this kid is going to keep up a pair of pants without a diaper on.
While we were in the aisle Erik was talking and I asked him, “What did you just say?” He answered (again) “Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans,” and his best effort at Corinthians. I have witnesses! I’ll try to get it on tape. It’s very cute.
