Last night was Erik’s first night in his new bed and new bedroom. Don’t be fooled by this cute, confident smile. It took quite a while for him to stop talking, stop sitting up, stop asking to go to the bathroom…I started to think it wasn’t going to happen last night. I finally picked him up and took him to his crib to see if he wanted to sleep there. “No, no. Big bed!” I took him back and he laid down and went to sleep. He slept the whole night! Well, not actually, Harvey took him to the bathroom once, but I never heard him so that counts for me! : ) Ryan slept through it all.
We love our Plasma car. Costco has them for a great deal right now so I got one more. I’m all for learning to share, learning patience etc. but sometimes having two most favored toys is worth $38. (One was a gift.) If you are considering one…keep in mind the high cost of socks and shoes. Note Ryan’s second pair of socks (below) in two days from some crazy driving. Of course you probably don’t have a crazy driver like we do.
Look at these cute hands. They are covered with scrapes and a light coat of dirt.
Seriously, stop ruining your socks!!
Imagine what his shoes look like for his socks to look like this! I of course made him wear them to the store anyway…
