Ryan has inherited his mother’s love of Peeps! I read a fun article about a Peeps diorama contest in New York and thought, “Hey, we can do that!” So, no contest entry, but we put together Peeps and our new favorite pastime and came up with:

That little mixer has definitely earned its place in the kitchen! Ryan loves to make his special creations. I finally got smart and saved the flour for next time.
The Boy Who Loves Soup:
Erik LOVES soup. He will eat a man-sized portion of just about any kind. This is Gramma’s minestrone and he gobbled it down. Fine by me, it’s full of good eats. He also learned a little physics. He managed to unsuction the bowl…right into his head:
