Back to the Airport Instead

I was looking forward to sharing photos of our fun outing today.  It seemed like a good idea but it turned out to be a peaceful screaming hike retreat in the woods  back to the car and no photos were taken!  To be totally honest, I knew the jogging stroller wasn’t going to work out, but I decided to give it a go anyway.  (Not sure where Erik got his stubbornness).  I’ve mentioned Erik’s aversion to strollers before.  It is annoying and killing my back.  Add in a dose of newly acquired tantrums and it was quite an event.  Poor Ryan was so disappointed to have to go home but it was clear there was not going to be a quick resolve to the unhappiness, so back down the hill (only made it about 5 min. up) and into the car we went.

Last night I finally got Erik’s first photo album filled.  It only has the first two days (Korea and the airport arrival).   I’m a little behind!  I think I got overwhelmed with the number of photos at the airport and never posted any, so here are some HAPPY shots of Erik when we arrived home and were greeted by our very special family and friends…

Not sure what the line is but I’m just going to ignore it!  Pretty happy guy considering he just got off a 10 hour flight with complete strangers who then introduced him to a group of complete strangers.
