While I was toasty in my bed this morning I heard Harvey working in the kitchen, two giddy boys, and the word ‘pancakes’. Awesome…that’s a good half hour more for me! When I finally got myself out of bed and went in the kitchen I saw a bowl with the last bit of green batter in it. What a fun dad to make ‘greenish’ pancakes! Weebit was a bit of a slacker last night and only managed to make a bit of a mess in the boys room and to turn Erik’s milk green. He’s getting lazy in his old age! Ryan hated the green milk a couple of years ago, but Erik couldn’t get enough of it all day. Fortunately, Weebit left one of his shoes last night because we never got around to making a leprechaun trap. Getting Ryan through our first biology lesson wore me out! (no explosions or chemical reactions) So the boys are working on the Mouse Leprechaun Trap right now.
Erik has a new household job and he is quite proud:
So many gals I know go to used clothing stores for their kids’ clothes. I’ve never been too inclined, but I hadn’t found anything cute to send in Kimmy’s next care package so I thought I would give it a shot. I found a Gymboree dress that I loved a long time ago before I had a little girl and a couple of darling blouses. They are so cute, I can barely send them. I so want to see her in them…here! It helps that I spent less than $10 on the two blouses. I also found a little something for Erik:
I’m assuming you can tell it’s the coat since he has been in this outfit for like 75% of the pictures the last couple of weeks.
