On my lunch break yesterday I wrapped up our little girl’s Christmas present and then mailed it. It’s the last gift we can send this year. A few more families will get to pick up their kids in December and then nothing happens for the rest of December and much of January. I think it’s the most frustrating time. It’s a lot of New Year holidays, no working, no kids coming home. I’m finding that I just can’t let myself think about it at all or I start to lose it. Hopefully we’ll get another picture in December when she turns 14 months. Wow that is a lot of time missed! Painful to think we have at least another 7 months to go.
