Let There Be Lights

 

 

Erik is all over the advent calendar.  Mommy knows better than to fill it up all at once.

 

  It’s nothing if not total excitement around here!  Last month when Rocky wasn’t eating we thought he was molting.  Turned out he was a she and was pregnant with loads of babies.  So this time when she wasn’t eating we thought surely the kids did her in and she was dying.  Turns out she was molting.  Talk about taking off the old self!  I couldn’t have blamed her if she had been done in by all those babies but we’re happy she’s okay, though a little short in the appendages.  She isn’t the warm and fuzzy pet we would like but she sure keeps it interesting for us.  Doesn’t that make you want to adopt some of her kids?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  With his mother’s blood racing through his veins he immediately moved and hung Erik’s gingerbread man again.  I’m sure he isn’t going to mind a little rearranging while he’s asleep!
