Maybe Next Year…

Today was Ryan’s annual allergy appointment.  I knew the milk wouldn’t go well because he accidentally took a sip of Erik’s milk last week and got a small red spot by his mouth.  The nurse did the skin test and said she would be back in 15 minutes.  I told her she should check back sooner than that.  She came back after 5 minutes and said she would give it a few more minutes but wouldn’t go the whole time.  I could barely look at Ryan’s back.  It was covered in red bumps.  He was such a trooper.  He then named the kids he knows who have more allergies than he does.  It doesn’t change anything.  I was just hoping we could at least get over eggs.  There’s always next year…
