Well that was inconvenient! Last night Harv picked up some fresh fish from the Chinese market for dinner. It was a new kind we hadn’t heard of before. About 10 minutes into the pan the power went out. 19 hours later it finally came back on. No fish! It was so hot that we decided to go out to eat in a nice, cool restaurant (with the ball game on of course!) When we got home the power was still off and the house was hot and stuffy so we all sat outside and listened to the game on the radio. The big panic was in the morning when we realized it was going to be a while before we got power and we had four new containers of Haagen Dazs in peril! We packed up most of the freezer and a few things in the refrigerator and took them to my aunt and uncle’s house. Relief! : )
Harvey, Ryan, and my aunt and uncle went to Ryan’s first major league game today. It was quite an exciting game including Harvey ‘catching’ a foul ball for Ryan from one of his favorite players! I scanned through the photos and I don’t think Harv took a picture of Ryan with the ball (for which he will be reprimanded) but we have the ball. We watched the replay of the game but they didn’t show the foul ball make it up to my boys.
Tomorrow is Ryan’s first day of kindergarten!! You’ll have to tune in tomorrow to see where he ended up going…
I’ll put up pictures tomorrow!
