I said I was done with Lake photos…the rest of the trip is still coming!
As we were entering the park Erik had to go potty so we pulled off here. While that was going on some folks pulled up behind us and took a picture by this sign. Didn’t even occur to my picture-loving mind that this would indeed be a good picture taking spot. Anyways, we followed their lead, and now you know where we were.
Since I could only answer two (one of which I’m confident of) of Ryan’s plethora of questions about volcanoes, we will be studying them this year!
So I asked the ranger at the visitor center where we should take the boys. “Oh, just up the road to the Sulfur Works.”
So…we drove a few minutes up the road and parked. Everybody got out, changed from flip-flops into socks and shoes, got covered in sunscreen, and put their hats on. We then set off on our 38 second ‘hike’,
located adjacent to the parking lot!
It’s a guy thing…as soon as I took this a college guy came up behind me and asked me to take a photo of him doing the exact same pose on his camera.
Almost to Grandma’s…
