We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We’re so thankful I am feeling so much better. It has made such an enormous difference around here. We went to my brother’s for Thanksgiving dinner and they did everything! I didn’t see my kids for several hours, ate a delicious meal and enjoyed a couple classes of wine…enough said!
For the first time since September I worked outside. I love working in the yard so it felt great to be out there, but WHOA! did we have work to do!
This is Harvey’s new net system. It’s working great! Never has a man spent more time or money mastering oak trees and their mess.
Yep, this is Erik on the potty. He went number 2 and pee pee for the second time.
So I just had one small project for Harvey over the weekend…We bought a new faucet for the kitchen about three months ago and I asked if he would put it in. We have the hardest water on earth and nothing could clean it. I know, it’s really disgusting. It was supposed to be a quick project but as usual, the previous owner did a number on it. They glued it into a space that was too small because of course the sink was placed too far back into the counter to have the proper space for it.
It was at this point that Harvey said he couldn’t get it out…hmmmmmmmm! So he came back in from the garage with an electric saw…
We’re used to ridiculous projects done by the previous owners like:
yes, this was bolted in with about 10 screws
But this was annoying:
Yes, this is a blow torch.
But after two days I now have my lovely $35 faucet. I couldn’t bear to spend anymore since I have another kitchen project I haven’t told Harvey about yet! : )
Look who figured out that the vacuum hose is a whole lot like a fireman’s hose!
You may also want to stop by and check out my clean oven and fridge! : )
