Peeple’s Choice
Last year we had an egg drop. Everyone had to design a container to protect a raw egg from breaking when dropped. Well, it was fun, but we have way to many engineers. Harvey ended up on the roof throwing them off trying to get a winner. This year I decided to get creative. We went with Peeps. Ryan chose Star Wars. I’ve been thinking of doing this for a year. We started it on Sat. night…Fortunately, it only took one extra Michael’s run.
I know no one saw this coming after my first attempt at dipping the bunnies! I decided to read the directions after that. And then watch a video. Uh, folks, this is why they invented YouTube! They are all Peeps. I am especially proud of Yoda.

This one set the bar pretty high.
Nothing says “Easter” quite like the Vietnam War.

Imagine my delight when I figured out changing the ‘o’ to an ‘e’!! : ) It doesn’t take much!

Happy Easter
We had a very nice Easter. I had a long week of not feeling well. It was wonderful that I was feeling better and could enjoy the day. We had seven families join us for Easter dinner. We had a very creative contest. I’ll tease you at the end of the post.
Couldn’t be bothered to get up and get his own basket. He finally perked up when he saw this highly ‘unEaster’ gift. I could only use so much grass to fill the almost empty baskets for the boys. Of course Harvey had a stock pile of Star Wars figures to add.
Does anyone else see a little teenager in there?
Notice the tilt of the heads…
You’ll want to check out the Peep contest tomorrow!

“W”
I had to go to an appointment this morning, so I was a little late to Ryan’s game. I didn’t bring a camera. I wish I had some video. He hit two doubles, a triple, took a walk and pitched a nine pitch inning…nine strikes!
Please keep in mind that there were two in-yard homeruns (doubles at best!) There was some kind of fielding going on! But they won!! We have a win, 15-4. It was truly enjoyed by all.

Seriously
Oh, Red Sox…they are really, really not good. It is painful to watch. Fortunately, Ryan is still having fun. He is learning nothing, but he has friends and that was our biggest hope for going back to his age. But did I mention how painful it is to watch?
I wish he would take this more seriously…
Teaching proper throwing technique
Megan got new shoes yesterday. When she saw them it was love at first sight. She is CRAZY about them. I wanted to see how she would do on the balance bar. I tried to hold her hand as she walked…
“I never need help”
It is possible that Ryan plays baseball to chew gum and make bubbles…I don’t think soccer players chew gum.
