You could cut the anticipation with a knife…for the last week. Today was the day. Finally!

There was a momentary panic attack when a batting glove could not be found. Fortunately, by 1:00 it had been located.
He looked awesome helping me do some grocery shopping and then picking up Ryan. We got home again about 3:30. Somehow he was able to settle down enough to read for a short while before we headed out to the field about 4:45. I have to admit I was pretty excited by then myself. He has been a fan for a long time. He’s so ready.
It was a whole family affair. Megan felt pretty snookered when she found out the snack shack wasn’t open today. But we all had to go to the first practice. He loved it. It’s going to be great!
Happy First Season Joe Willy!
