This morning was the first day at school. Erik started kindergarten. He wasn’t nervous at all. When we got into the class his teacher had a small puzzle on each child’s desk and he got started on that pretty quickly. There are eight kids in his class. I think he is going to love it. When I picked him up he was very happy. The happiness wore off by about four and getting up at 6:15 and going to school began to show. He fell asleep quicker than usual tonight.

Megan could not have been happier about school starting. As soon as we walked out the door she ran to the playground. She is going to love having Mommy to herself two days a week.

Now I have to go look at what we need to get started on tomorrow. Ryan has four teachers for the core subjects plus a music teacher. The big challenge for me is going to be keeping all of their assignments straight.
