We decided to go a little early to the wedding so we could have a fun beach day with the kids. We stopped in Solvang on the way to the beach. I can’t believe I had never been there. I’ve passed the extra dozens of times. It’s such a cute little Danish town. There were so many stores I wanted to check out. Harv and I can’t wait to go back…without kids!
It was cold (of course) where we were staying so we headed down close to Santa Barbara for the beach. The kids loved it. Only Ryan will go in the water. It’s hard to get him out of it. The only bummer was the TAR! I never saw any on the beach so I didn’t even think about it. I got it off of the kids with some oil and I finally got it off Megan’s shoes with some olive oil and a knife. I’m still working on my favorite flip-flops. They’re sitting in olive oil right now.
