A journal for friends and family to follow our life with our boys, Ryan and Erik, and our little girl Megan.
Megan got this cute tea set from a friend who came to her shower. It’s perfect for Megan and a friend…
Who needs a cup?
Gramma hosted a wonderful shower to welcome Megan home yesterday. I thought I was going to get to putting photos up tonight but…so here is a teaser.
Megan loves to pick out her clothes:
For some reason I can’t control my need to say that the outfit was her idea! : )
While Ryan and I did spelling, Erik took on the role of teacher. Megan learned all about her ABCs and 123s.
Today I took Ryan for his dental check-up. I just knew when they asked me to go in the back to talk to the dentist it wasn’t going to be good. I was feeling bad about not doing a good job cleaning his teeth and about his first cavity. A cavity would have been awesome. So when he caught that fly ball with his mouth a few months ago…apparently it damaged and hence stunted his PERMANENT tooth’s growth. We have to watch that it doesn’t turn color (infection) and hope that it will continue to grow. I am so bummed that he might lose a permanent tooth at seven. He just got it! But no cavities!
It’s been hard for me to get to the blog this week. I have had a lot to do for Ryan’s school. It really feels like a much better fit than the school he attended last year. It helps that they give me everything to do for the days he is home. It just makes the prep time much shorter. I also want to do some fun things with Erik for preschool and keep Megan busy so less prep is great. I think I’m finally done with the classes and meetings to get school started.
