The Scarecrow

Yesterday and today have been easier days, but she still has some sad moments.  She has been sleeping great and that has been good for everyone.  She loves baths so we have been doing that in the morning and at night.  We have also been taking nice long walks because she loves the stroller.  I also took her on several errands yesterday because she likes the car.  Foster Mom had said she hated the car, so that’s a relief.  Maybe being secure in the carseat and sitting high helps?  (Could be the goldfish crackers)

I took Ryan to a birthday party today.  His little friend has lots of allergies too.  I walked in with Ryan and my friend said, “I’ve got the Epi Pen, allergy-free snacks and dessert!”  No special trip to the store to buy Ryan food for the party.  It was so nice to be able to just drop HIM off.

I didn’t even know when the Olympics were on this year because I haven’t watched NBC or the other major networks in years.  We watch sports and Animal Planet usually.  Sometimes our judgement is a little off and we actually spend a half hour watching say, “My Cat From Hell.”  It happens.  The awesome part however, it that at the end of one of the shows…yes, we watched the whole show, they showed this cool sensored sprinkler (the Scarecrow) to scare away pesty neighborhood cats who poop in your sandbox.  Harvey had that thing ordered in an instant.  Well, it works…at least on little girls.  I didn’t even notice it was in, so when Megan walked into the sand we were both surprised.  She took it in stride and went back, but Mommy hadn’t actually turned it off.  She took it pretty well again.  Twice sprayed…she went for the wagon instead.
