This is the cute Korean flag I found for Erik this year.
Since Ryan is all about camouflage this year…
Can you see it?
Time to make cookies for Santa:
Yep, those are the clothes they were wearing yesterday. This morning Erik walked into my room and said, “Can we make frosting now?”
When we got home from church tonight we found two new bags from our Secret Santa.
They ran into the bathroom to get some water and just parked it there. Why waste time going to a clean table?
Secret Santa has given them a good supply of growing things.
Erik’s first doodle at big church. I wonder how many offering envelopes the average kid goes through in a lifetime…
Why we should always be around kids at Christmas:
One of the pastors read a cute story about why we put lights on our Christmas trees. Before he got started he asked the kids if they knew why we put lights on the tree. A little girl’s hand shot up: “So Santa won’t trip over the tree.”
After he finished the story he went to light the Christ candle in the Advent wreath. He asked them if they knew what the candles were for. This time a little boy raised his hand, “Hanakkah!” : )
A little honesty never hurts! Hopefully Santa will go for ‘pretty good’.
I walked out of the room for like a minute and the boys (Harvey and Ryan) had opened the Play Mobil from G and G.
Ready for visions of sugar plums…
Merry Christmas!
