(Not to worry! It’s the cute, pink, in the dirt kind! )
We finally had some sun this morning so we got lots of outside play time today. I decided to start on the ocean of weeds, of which I managed a cup or so! One of the joys of weeding after lots of rain is how easily they come out. The other, and more exciting, is the plethora of worms! Erik got to hold (and drop) his first worm. He loved them all and didn’t even eat one!
I have a feeling that we are going to be a two-helmet family!
All that worming took its toll!
Really, this was so my kind of day! I love being outside and love watching the kids get dirty. I’ll take weeding over vacuuming any day! I could never count the amount of hours Ryan has spent digging. Our neighbor boys, now in Jr. and High school, brought these trucks over for Ryan when we moved in. They picked the right boy!
Good thing I like to weed!!
