I have about a hundred photos with Ryan popping up in them. He’s lucky this one turned out so cute.

A journal for friends and family to follow our life with our boys, Ryan and Erik, and our little girl Megan.
It’s true. You’re ten. You are such a kind and thoughtful boy. You are liked and enjoyed by everyone you meet. What a joy it has been these past ten years. You have a tender heart for the Lord and a genuine love for His Word. As much as I have loved these early years, I am even more excited about all that is ahead. I love watching you grow, to see your interests expand (a little outside of baseball) and seeing you become more and more independent. You bring so much love and life into our home and family. We all love you so deeply. I couldn’t be more proud to be your mom.
Love you Joe!

So it rained just enough to cancel the outdoor egg hunt. Have to say I didn’t completely mind not filling/hiding several hundred eggs. We went ahead and hid eggs inside for the little ones.
It was once again time for our annual Peep contest. Hard to compete with the “Vietnam War” from last year!
Here’s our back yard…
Of course there was ‘fire’ inside to roast the marshmallows. The movie projector has a light in it too…so you can watch the movie of course!
My niece and nephew went digital. They made two movies and they were fabulous! First was Batpeep and then there was Romeo and Julipeep. They won the coveted “Peeples’ Choice” award.
The kid entries:
This was from earlier in the weekend…
So I need a little work on icing cakes…but it was still cute.
The kids have a weird Easter break this year. It is from Wed. to Wed. Not a fan. I so wish we had all of next week off!
Yesterday we headed over to Gramma and Grandpa’s for our annual egg hunt. Megan had the boys re-hide the eggs several times for her. Hunting is definitely her thing.
Harvey made these planters for Gramma. I think he needs to make me some too!
So we have been busy putting our Peeps displays together. I’m quite proud! No light sabers this year.
So it hasn’t rained for like 5 years and yet somehow we have an 80% chance for tomorrow when I have 28 people coming for Easter. Good thing there are only 14 children 10 and under. Man I need a basement!
The boys are watching the World Series. Again.
I am loving the baseball schedule this season. It was so nice not having to split for a tournament on Sat. We were able to get a lot done around the yard. It’s been a couple of years since we planted anything. We put in several tomato plants. Hope we will have water for them. We are having mandatory water reduction. Bummer.
I can’t believe I just sent out an email about our end of the year party. The boys’ school finishes in May. I will have a 5th grader! Only two weeks until he turns 10.
