We are back at our hotel. We had a wonderful visit with both foster moms. Kimmy was cute and friendly with us at the agency. The transition from foster mom and to the hotel went smoothly. Once we got to our room Kimmy started figuring things out. She wants to be held but cries every little while. We are going to try for a nap and I’ll post some photos from this morning if/when the nap happens.
A journal for friends and family to follow our life with our boys, Ryan and Erik, and our little girl Megan.

Today is the Day!
Well our stomachs overruled our other senses and we went out to eat last night. We strolled around the neighborhood by our hotel. It was hopping with young people.
Obviously, we are staying in a classy hotel!
Tempura leaves…taste exactly like you think a leaf would taste.
I took something to help me sleep and it worked! The one hour I got the night we arrived for Erik did not work out very well last time. Harv didn’t make it all the way through the night, but he fairs so much better than I do.
We’re off to find something to eat in about an hour and then we’ll head over to the agency! Two and a half hours until we meet!
Looks like we made it
We just arrived at our hotel. We met a nice couple from Oklahoma by the elevator. They just picked up their little boy today.
We debated about bringing the stroller. We finally decided on the way out the door to bring it. Apparently, Asiana Airlines did not think we needed it and left it in San Francisco for us to pick up when we get back. Hoping Kimmy is a fan of the Ergo!
Harvey has been up for about 25 hours so hopefully he can fall asleep. He keeps talking about going to get something to eat and now he’s watching a Korean variety show…
Tomorrow morning we go to the agency at 9:30 and then meet Kimmy and Foster Mom at 10.
Off to sleep!

17 Hours
We leave in 17 hours! Gramma and Grandpa will stay with the boys. I know they will have lots of fun together. I just thought of washing Kimmy’s crib sheet. I don’t know when and if she’ll go in it, but it’s been collecting dust for a year! Obviously, I was a little overly optimistic about when she would come home. It’s still a little surreal that after all this time she is finally coming home. She’ll be under our roof in four days!! I’ll do my best to keep the blog updated with everything. We will meet Kimmy and Foster Mom on Wed. morning (Tues. dinner time here). We will also get to see Erik’s foster mom. I made her a wonderful photo book with tons of pictures. I would so love to bring Erik and see them together, but it just wasn’t possible this time.
Last of the lake:
Ryan LOVED the kayak. Since we didn’t have time to go out on the big boat, it was great for him to go around the small cove.
