Christmas 2016

I think the kids were the last ones to open presents on the West coast.  Gramma and Grandpa came at 10 and by the time we got started it was quite a bit after that.  They did great waiting though, and I think it was worth it.

Did not come out quite like Grandma’s, but they were still tasty.

Because we always seem to need more Nerf guns.

Got fancy for Christmas dinner.  My brother’s family and Grandma Esther and Grandpa Jim joined us.  Harvey made a delicious prime rib.

Old school video games!
I had to buy these because I’m a sucker for nostalgia.  The boys were a little slow warming up to them and then the magic happened.  Once they figured them out they have been on them a lot.  They can play alone or against each other (or me.)  I beat Ryan pretty good the first football game, but I haven’t come close since.

The decorations are starting to come down.  I’m determined to go through each box and stop storing things we don’t use.  Hopefully I can get things back in order before school starts!
