It was a very fun day at the ballpark! Ryan was up with two outs and bases loaded (a mother’s nightmare) and he hit a triple!!! And to top it off…I was filming! Unfortunately, I’m a terrible video gal. It’s a little blurry, but I got the big plays of the day nonetheless. The following inning, due to absent players and a pitcher who ended up being ineligible because he still needed another day of rest, they pulled Ryan as catcher and told him to pitch. He hasn’t ever practiced with the team…First pitch…STRIKE! He ended up striking out five players in two innings and threw one out at first. It was too fun! Everyone was super impressed with his ability to chew gum and pitch at the same time! We all have our talents.

What a day. A proud Auntie I am....so proud - I got tears in my eyes! What a game!!! And for Donna to see this one - WOW! It was also fun playing with Megan and Erik! I have to admit I was playing with them, but trying to keep an eye on what Ry was doing too!
