At dinner last night Ryan broke the news: “ I know Santa isn’t real. Want to know how I know?” Of course we were all ears. “I saw the ‘Santa’ paper in your closet.” We could tell he was figuring it out this year. After I told him to keep out of my closet (which also holds his birthday present which he also now knows all about) he began to clear up the whole Santa thing for us. “I mean, reindeer can’t fly and how can he go around the whole world.” He thought it was beyond funny and promised not to ruin it for his brother. His only problem was, “Then who ate all of the cookies?”
