It's been three months since we brought our little guy home! What a blessing he is to our family. We are so thankful to have him home with us. He is full of energy: climbing, running, and getting into everything. The big news is that he says "Mama" now. He seems to be a little more attached to me the last week or so. He has slept through the night for a little over a week and it has been wonderful.

We had five families for Thanksgiving this year. We have been getting together for the last five years. Since one family offered to make the turkey, Harvey decided to make a capon (a castrated rooster). It sounds more appetizing when you just tell people it's chicken. It was delicious nonetheless.

I THINK WE SHOULD ADD SOME LITTLE BUTTER 'EGGS' TO COMPLETE THE PICTURE. THEY SHOULD BE BIG ENOUGH FOR A SERVING SINCE NO ONE WANTS TO CUT THE CHICKENS HEAD OFF!
I TOOK ONE TO GRIGSBYS AND SHE ALREADY HAD A PLAIN ORDINARY CUBE ON THE TABLE. SHE LOVED THE CHICKEN BUT THE OTHER GUESTS DIDN'T WANT TO CUT INTO IT.....oh well!!!!
Actually, several people wanted the head! It went quick! : )

So "Mama" - sounds like y'all had an awesome time. Though we were not there - we are indeed thankful for each of you and to be a part of your lives! We just love you bunches - Tess and Gay!!
