So, technically speaking, he did ‘hang up his shirt’.
I’m not really complaining about this one though. It was actually hanging completely on the hanger. We have several danglers that aren’t going to last through the night.
A journal for friends and family to follow our life with our boys, Ryan and Erik, and our little girl Megan.

This is what my bathroom looks like. Harvey is finishing the walls and ceiling. I have started looking at paint again. I am tired of the green that I have sampled on my bedroom walls (5 years ago) so we are going another direction…
A few months ago I got fired from making guacamole. Ryan preferred the way a restaurant we like does it so he has taken over. Last night he said, “You know what would look really nice…if I put chips around the guacamole.” Sure enough! Happy to hand over the reigns.
The boys have spent HOURS the last few days playing monster truck in the sand:
Today we got to visit the boys classrooms and meet their teachers. Now that I think of it, I never saw Ryan’s room or teacher…Once we got there, Ryan and his friends were off. I did bring him home. I can’t believe Erik is almost five and about to start kindergarten. We will start school at home next week and their T/Th school will start after Labor Day.
I saw the mascot at the bottom of the stair before Ryan noticed. As he headed up toward our seats I glanced over at Ryan to see his reaction. He started to get up…scooted past me, and walked over to him and waited to get a high five. Yeah! It looks like he has conquered his fear of mascots. Looks like we may get to go to Disneyland one day after all!
Ryan and his buddy were ‘warming up’ yesterday. Now I have a pair of broken windows.
Ryan and Harvey went to a Giant’s game today with my brother and Ryan’s cousin. They had a great time. And the Giant’s finally won!
I took Erik and Megan back to the bike moguls and we rode with some friends. They just love it. Erik and I did a little school work while Megan napped. I can’t believe he is starting kindergarten in a month. I am so happy with our school schedule. He is going to love going to school, but I also get to teach him several days a week. I’m planning on Megan being a lot easier this school year….hope that plan works out!
