So I went to start the soup tonight and I was out of onions! I was at two stores this afternoon…ugh! So I ran to the store (you know, in my car) and bought an onion. I pulled out a couple of quarters…”That’s $1.32.” What? When did one onion start costing $1.32?!! My chances of making it big on The Price is Right are over! That’s still on right?

438!
It’s been two years and 438 posts since I started this blog! We were just starting the adoption process and I wanted to keep track of our journey as well as share it with loved ones and those who were also interested in adoption. After accumulating many journals with only the first four or five pages written in them, it’s fun to have two years recorded. Maybe it’s just more fun posting about my kiddos!

Lots of Thinking
I walked into Ryan’s room to put away some clothes and he made his move…
Ryan: “I was thinking that it would be good if I had a t.v. in my room. Maybe a big one up here (pointing to the wall space right over where his new roommate will be sleeping in a couple of months.)
Me: “Never going to happen.”
Ryan: “Yeah, I was thinking your might say that.”

A Shower
Today we went to a baby shower for some friends who are adopting a little girl from Korea. I brought the cookies…this maxed out my decorating creativity! It sure was fun to get to do something in pink!
