Last Game

 Last night was Ryan’s last game.  They got to play on the big field.  The kids loved it, except for those who decided to slide into home…the dirt hurts!  Harvey and I organized the party so we had to leave a little early to set up on the other side of the park.  That was when Ryan had his big double play!  He caught a ball and then threw to second to get someone out.  I’ve gotten to hear the replay several times though.

Nate Schierholz signed balls today.  It’s tough to squeeze in and apparently most of the kids grown-ups don’t follow the ‘go to the end of the line once you get a ball signed’ rule.  There was a gal there that must be a regular.  She got Ryan’s ball signed for him.  Yippee!

Saying Goodbye to Miss Rocky

Actually, we said goodbye a few weeks ago.  She hadn’t been eating again.  In the past that meant molting and giving birth, but this time…

 

She was kind of a weird pet.  She was very naughty and always getting into trouble, but she was lots of fun (as much fun as a crustacean can be I suppose.)  We’ll miss watching her antics.

Game Changer

We have some games…that have been changed!  No baseball game tomorrow night (Tues.)  Rained out game is now Wed. night at 5:30 (same field) and our last game of the season will be on Thurs. night at 5:30.  It’s been a strange season. 

I’m thinking it’s about time for someone to finish kindergarten…so I’m off to figure out how that’s going to happen!

Rain,Rain Go Away

 We’re back!  It’s been nothing but excitement around here.  Just kidding!  It has been totally boring and I still don’t have my camera lens back.  Harv called yesterday and the camera repair man said he would probably get to it in about six weeks.  WHAT?  Since he told Harv 6-10 days he decided to bump me up.  It’s going to be pricey.  Y’all have seen your last beach photos!

What is up?  It looks like Ryan’s last Sat. game is going to be cancelled due to…rain!  It doesn’t rain in June in California!  That also means the party I’m in charge of is cancelled.
