“I just want to stay ‘4’”
I like ‘4’ too J.W.
A journal for friends and family to follow our life with our boys, Ryan and Erik, and our little girl Megan.
Frosty the Pirate
Once upon a time there was a snowman. His name
was Frosty the Snowman. He played with all of his
friends. They played ball. The teams were the
Giants and the Pirates. Frosty was a Pirate. He
was the pitcher. He threw a lot of change ups. He
threw curveballs too. The Pirates won.

We beat the team that gave us our first loss. Last inning we were up with a tied score. Ryan’s hit got the winning run to third. Ryan then did a delayed steal from first, getting himself into somewhat of a pickle (couldn’t resist) which gave the runner at third time to score. Mommy was exhausted by the time this game was over.
Well it’s been almost two weeks…he’s 8! We decided it was time a couple of years ago to not do a big party every year. Last year we just had family over. This year it was just our immediate family. It was a nice day. Ryan got just what he wanted, Legos and art stuff. He had all day to play with the new Legos and try his hand at his new Spirograph. Isn’t it fun buying your kids the old toys you once loved?
Ryan LOVES hot pot, so Harvey went and bought us our own hot plate. We go to Harvey’s aunt’s house every Chinese New Year for this, but decided it would be fun to have our own. The kids all love it. I’m so happy they are willing to try all of the things I won’t.
A little someone could not be happier about the warm weather, the water table, and a little water gun found lying around.
Last photo as a seven year old! Can’t believe he’s eight already. Only six more weeks of second grade.
