A Performance

Last weekend Ryan’s school had a performance.  They do them twice a year.  Every student has to have a part.  It was very well done.  Here is our little performer:

Turkey

So I’m easing myself back into things here.  Ryan had a Thanksgiving party at school.  He brought a family tradition to share:

2012-11-15_013 I used to make this turkey in my classroom and carried on the tradition at home.  Ryan was more than happy to ‘carve’ it up for everyone.  It’s filled with bags of popcorn.

Still a bad blogger

So apparently I am making no strides in getting back into the swing of things.  Nonetheless, here are some cute kids…

What’s Up?

I’ve not been a good blogger.

Today I took the kids to JCP’s for pictures.  We got a new guy…It was not too good.  The kids did well, but the photographer never really spoke.  He kind of pointed where he wanted them and never tried to get them to smile.  Anyway, I bought three photos.  We came home and I took a few more.  I couldn’t get a good one of Megan today either.  She would only smile when a camera was not in sight today.

Halloween

We had a busy Halloween.  Ryan and I took some friends up to the airport and then we went to Ryan’s egg challenge at the hospital.  It is scheduled for three hours.  He tested ‘0’ for egg in April so I was so sure he would pass…The doctor wanted to do a skin test before the challenge and he got a huge reaction right away.  We never got to the challenge.  It still took two hours.  He doesn’t want to test again for another year.  Bummer.  By the time we got home we had to do a few rushed pictures so we could go to Grandma’s and walk around a few stores.  Here are the kids’ costumes: 2012-10-31_007
